Using I hook
join yarn to ponytail holder, ch 2, hdc around 30 times, join in ch 2: 30 hdc.
Rnd 1) (working in Back loops this rnd only) ch 4, (counts as first dc, ch 1), * dc in first st, skip next st, ch 1; repeat from * around join in ch 3 of ch 4. end weaving in all ends.
Rnd 2) (working in front loops this rnd only) Repeat rnd 1, join weaving in all ends.
Edging: using the F hook & eyelash yarn
Join in any ch 3 space on rnd 1, ch 6, sc in next ch space. * ch 6, sc in next ch space, repeat from * around join in ch 3; end weaving in all ends.
Repeat for rnd 2 as rnd 1. end and weaving in all ends.
